WAGA in the USA
WAGA in Alabama
A Big “Hello” to all those golfers looking for the Women’s Alabama Golf Association website (WAGA).
World Airline Golfing Alliance (WAGA) is not in anyway related to the Women’s Alabama Golf Association. Having said that, should you be a female golfer in Alabama, then you are not excluded from joining one of our World Airline Golfing Alliance golf tours!
We hope this site enhances your ability to gather information pertaining to the world of golf and WAGA.
WAGA in Atlanta
There’s been some confusion with the folks that live around Atlanta, Georgia.
They’ve come to our website looking for a TV Station!
Sorry folks, you’re confusing us with WAGA channel 5, an owned-and-operated television station of the News Corporation-owned FOX Television Network and based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
The station’s transmitter is co-located with its studios on Briarcliff Road Northeast in DeKalb County, just west of Emory University.
WAGA in Wisconsin
For those golfers that live in Wisconsin, USA, please do not get confused between the Wisconsin Apple Growers Association (WAGA) and the World Airline Golfing Alliance (WAGA)
Wisconsin Apple Growers Association (WAGA). WAGA provides current legislative information, conducts education workshops, field days and promotes apples all year round.
Have a look through our website, while you munch on an apple, and you’ll see the core business here is golf, not apples
The World Airline Golfing Alliance is not associated with the Western Amputee Golf Association (WAGA)- which was founded to help amputees and other physically challenged people build a sense of personal pride and confidence.
There’s also:
Western America Golf Association (WAGA)
Williamsburg Area Golf Association (WAGA)
Wet Arbeidsvoorwaarden Grensoverschrijdende Arbeid (WAGA)
Workshop on Attribute Grammars (WAGA)
Western Australian Golf Association (WAGA)
Welsh Amateur Gymnastics Association (WAGA)
West Australian gliding association (WAGA)
War Affected Girls and Adults (WAGA)
Wausau Area Golf Association (WAGA)
Westside Assembly of God Adela (WAGA)
Western Airlines Golfers Association (WAGA)
Have we missed any other WAGA?

Andrew Said,
Seems there is more WAGA golfing than we first suspected.
Our version of WAGA stands for Wednesday Afternoon Golfing Athletes.
We are a 65 strong society who meet, surprise, surprise, every Wednesday at the JSGCE course in Cyprus. Our format is a 12 hole stableford, no handicaps required, as we will assess and award our WAGA handicap to those who don’t have handicap certificates.
Playing in the WAGA has been a great way for people to get involved in the game, and most of our members who started without handicaps, have gone on to getting a full handicap.
Our membership is free for all, although we do have certain rules regarding fines, such as getting fined for practicing before a game, paying a fine for wearing a yellow shirt (this is reserved for the current leader) and pretty much anything we feel like fining people for. Any suggestions for fines are resolved by a show of hands, so pretty much all suggestions get accepted.
As I mentioned, the current leader gets to wear the yellow shirt. Last in the standings has to play in the dreaded pink shirt.
Just one more WAGA for your list.
