Hinton’s Restaurant is nestled among expansive landscaped gardens and grapevines. Offering a la carte, buffet and canape dining in this restored villa, the food is fresh, delicious and meticulously presented.
The tasting room and café provide another space for entertaining and rewarding corporate groups with a distinctive South Island experience. Permeating rustic charm, the café features original artwork and images from Hinton’s original vineyard home in Central Otago.
The tasting room spills out onto a stylish courtyard with schist stone, thyme and native grasses. Extensive buffet and canapé menus are available.
Christchurch’s Gondola and Summit Station, just east of the city, hosts an exhilarating range of activities and venues atop the beautiful Port Hills with spectacular views to the city, beaches and the Southern Alps beyond.
The Crater Rim Room, the attraction’s dedicated conference room provides a tranquil space for up to 120 people and can be arranged to suit multiple meeting requirements. Alternatively, Pinnacle the Gondola restaurant is ideal for larger special functions catering for set menus, buffet style or cocktail events where delegates will revel in the spectacular outlook.
There’s a myriad of activities on offer at the summit complex. These include the Time Tunnel Ride Experience, mountain biking, Crater Rim walkways, guided walks, a culinary treat at Pinnacle, lunch at the Summit Café and gift shopping at the Gondola retail shop.
