Brian,

I can attest to Sporte Leisure clothing. I have owned a few pieces over the years & have always found them to be very stylish & of good quality. Happy to endorse their clothing line anytime.

Since from my return from Lake Como, I have thought much about 2009.
For various reasons, WAGA will not proceed with the planned event in Argentina.
Malaysia, Spain and Sunshine Coast are expected to go ahead.

Seems there is more WAGA golfing than we first suspected.

Our version of WAGA stands for Wednesday Afternoon Golfing Athletes.

We are a 65 strong society who meet, surprise, surprise, every Wednesday at the JSGCE course in Cyprus. Our format is a 12 hole stableford, no handicaps required, as we will assess and award our WAGA handicap to those who don't have handicap certificates.

Playing in the WAGA has been a great way for people to get involved in the game, and most of our members who started without handicaps, have gone on to getting a full handicap.

Our membership is free for all, although we do have certain rules regarding fines, such as getting fined for practicing before a game, paying a fine for wearing a yellow shirt (this is reserved for the current leader) and pretty much anything we feel like fining people for. Any suggestions for fines are resolved by a show of hands, so pretty much all suggestions get accepted.

As I mentioned, the current leader gets to wear the yellow shirt. Last in the standings has to play in the dreaded pink shirt.

Just one more WAGA for your list.
