August happenings at WAGA
Hi everybody, wonderful weather in Queensland, minimum of 7deg C and max 20deg C – great weather for golf and WAGA are considering making the Sunshine Coast event for 2009 around this time of year.
Christchurch – WAGA have obtained some more rooms so if you have friends who wish to join, ask them to send in an application asap. Fax to 61 7 5579 8069. Currently there are 64 golfers and 21 non-golfers.
Malaysia – scheduled for 19th to 25th of April, brochure with graphic artist now and should be ready next week. No final word on airfares with MAS but discussions are still proceeding. Playing Royal Selangor, Kota Permai, Clearwater and Saujana.
Spain – June 1 to 5 and already 8 folk have applied for this event. A maximum of 80 applicants only can be accepted due to limited accommodation. So if you thinking of coming to the Costa del Sol for the WAGA event, make sure you get a brochure and send in the registration form.
Brochures – recently WAGA sent a bulk email to those whose address they hold. At least 250 came back. WAGA will not produce a printed brochure for either Malaysia, Spain or Sunshine Coast events.
