World Airline Golfing Alliance 16th June up-date

WAGA staff are busy with the next event, The August Cup; being held on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, in August 09. There are still some vacancies if you wish to have a winter holiday in Queensland.

Costa del Sol - there are 49 images on the website now, click on photos, then click on Spain. Scores from Spain can be found on the golf tournament results page.

There are still spots in all remaining 09 events and plans for 2010 are well underway.

WAGA up-date

Friday has dawned bright and clear on the Gold Coast, but very cool by our standards, 4deg C.

Spain was a great event and comments from Ian North, Mike Night, Dorothy Consolo and Harry Boardson attest to this. Jim Smalley gathered another WAGA trophy and has been encouraged to try his skills in Palm Springs. Photographs from Spain will make the web-site over the weekend.

Tournaments - Sunshine Coast has 30 plus, Palm Springs is the same and Queenstown has 29. Entries are steady and WAGA is currently working on tours for 2010.

WAGA leaves Spain

The tournament is over, Jim Smalley winning and Vitaly Kostanov and Frank Savignano featuring in equal second, Vitaly taking it on a count-back.

Friday was a relaxing day, some might say I was too relaxed and Saturday was cool and wet.

On a fine Sunday morning, WAGA have left Costa del Sol for Brisbane and some 23hours of flying..
