WAGA golf tournaments without a brochure

Hi everybody, it’s a fine Sunday and I am off to golf later. The Costa del Sol golf tournament in June has been established on the website. It was my intention to email those on our mailing list an electronic brochure but I could not use my bulk mailing system. The file was too large and even when it was reduced, it was still too big for bulk mailing. I can and have sent individual copies and if you would like one, please email me at armlass@optusnet.com.au or brian@wagagolf.com

I know some are sorry that we will not print a brochure but ”going green” is the way of the future and printing brochures seems to be old hat. WAGA are pleased with the result so far and we now have over 20 folk booked for the June tournament.

The 24th International Airline Cup will be held in Kuala Lumpur from the 19th to the 25th of April, 2009. The brochure will appear on the web this week. I  ask all readers to pass the brochures on to friends and fellow golfers. The IAC is a team event and I look forward to meeting old friends in Malaysia.

August happenings at WAGA

Hi everybody, wonderful weather in Queensland, minimum of 7deg C and max 20deg C - great weather for golf and WAGA are considering making the Sunshine Coast event for 2009 around this time of year.

Christchurch - WAGA have obtained some more rooms so if you have friends who wish to join, ask them to send in an application asap. Fax to 61 7 5579 8069. Currently there are 64 golfers and 21 non-golfers.

Malaysia - scheduled for 19th to 25th of April, brochure with graphic artist now and should be ready next week. No final word on airfares with MAS but discussions are still proceeding. Playing Royal Selangor, Kota Permai, Clearwater and Saujana.

Spain - June 1 to 5 and already 8 folk have applied for this event. A maximum of 80 applicants only can be accepted due to limited accommodation. So if you thinking of coming to the Costa del Sol for the WAGA event, make sure you get a brochure and send in the registration form.

Brochures - recently WAGA sent a bulk email to those whose address they hold. At least 250 came back. WAGA will not produce a printed brochure for either Malaysia, Spain or Sunshine Coast events. If you have a new email address or are not sure that we have the correct one, please send your current email address to either armlass@optusnet.com.au or brian@wagagolf.com

This will ensure you get a brochure and registration form and not MISS out on the event you wish to attend.
